The Big Air finals wrapped up the snowboarding events at the FIS Snowboard World Championships in Sierra Nevada, Spain.

Scoring a perfect 100 for her double cork 1080, Anna Gasser of Austria won gold and also put down a contest first for herself and women’s snowboarding. Combined with a cab double cork 900, she claimed the World Championship title with 189.50 points. Enni Rukajarvi from Finland got silver with 165.25 points and Norway’s Silje Norendal got bronze with 162.75.

For the men’s Big Air, Staale Sandbech of Norway stomped a backside triple cork 1440 and a frontside 1440 which earned him a combined score of 188.25. Chris Corning from the U.S.A. took silver with 182.75 points and another Norweigan, Marcus Kleveland got bronze with a score of 177.25.
