Red Bull Slope Soakers at Grouse Mountain

On April 2nd, Vancouver’s Grouse Mountain will play host to the Canadian debut of the Red Bull Slope Soakers, a one-of-a-kind event that blends the goofy fun of springtime pond skimmin’ with a classic slopestyle jam.  Contestants will brave a number of features set up over ponds, sending their best tricks with only freestyle sensibility to save them getting soaked.  Sounds like a blast, right?

The event is open to everybody over the age of 16, and prizes will be awarded to men’s and women’s first as well as for best trick, best crash, and best costume.  There will be an on-hill BBQ and Beer Garden for the fans and hecklers, and with sunny skies the boardin’ will be all time.  The event kicks off at 9:30 on the Cut– see you there!
