The FIS World Cup Big Air Finals went off in Québec City on Saturday Night. The event was the last stop in the Big Air series for the 2016-2017 season and also a part of the 2017 Jamboree presented by Vidéotron Mobile. Canada took the top two spots for Men’s Big Air event with Mark McMorris in first-place and Max Parrot in second. Russian snowboarder, Anton Mamaev, finished third.

In the Women’s Big Air event, Anna Gasser of Austria placed first landing a cab double underflip. Julia Marino from the USA came second and New Zealand’s Zoi Sadowski Synnott earned third.

McMorris and Gasser also went home with the FIS Big Air Crystal Globe, an award given to the rider who has earned the most FIS World Cup points in their event.
