Carhartt Work In Progress is pleased to announce its latest collaboration with the world’s leading snowboard brand, Burton. It is the third time the brands have come together, following previous collaborations in 2008 and 2011.
The latest Burton x Carhartt WIP collection combines classic Carhartt WIP designs with Burton’s technical performance fabrics. The result is a line of innovative, durable pieces geared for mountain-driven functionality.
Comprised of ten pieces, the collection features workwear-inspired detailing and silhouettes, taken from iconic Carhartt WIP pieces translated into an outdoor-performance context. Stand-out pieces include a classic coverall created in a waterproof DRYRIDE 2-Layer Cordura® Fabric, and a silhouette inspired by the Carhartt WIP Active Jacket fabricated in a 3-Layer Twill Fabric with an 18 Denier Tricot Scrim Shell for added warmth.
The collection also features a selection of accessories, including a pair of co-branded mitts and a beanie constructed from a blend of lambswool, yak wool and cashmere. Additionally, there is a waterproof backpack and duffel bag created in a robust Cordura® fabric.
