WSSF 2023 MULTIMEDIA EVENTS 
72Hour Filmmaker Showdown, Sea to Sky Photo Challenge, and Intersection set to return
 World Ski & Snowboard Festival (WSSF) is excited to announce the return of fan-favorite multimedia programming (with a slight twist) for the 2023 edition. 72 Hour Filmmaker ShowdownSea to Sky Photo Challenge, and Intersection will be held on  April 11, 12, and 13 from 8 PM – 10 PM (Doors at 7 PM) in the Emerald Ballroom in the Westin Resort & Spa, Whistler.
 
Tickets for these highly anticipated events will go on sale to Après Pass Members and Ambassadors on Friday, March 17. Tickets and 3-pack ticket bundles will available to the general public on Monday, March 20.

 72-Hour Filmmaker Showdown, presented & produced by Whistler Film Festival, is returning to Whistler. Teams will be put to the test as they are invited to shoot, edit and produce a 3-5 minute film in just 72 hours. Forget big budgets and exotic locations, we want to see how creative you can get by filming within 100km of Whistler using any recording device of your choosing. The grand prize of $5000 is open to all aspiring filmmakers, but it will take grassroots grit, originality, imagination, and great storytelling to steal center stage. Registration Opening Soon. 

SEA TO SKY PHOTO CHALLENGE

 The Sea to Sky Photo Challenge is an awe-inspiring celebration of the craft of action sports photography, bringing together some of the best photographers, from the Sea to Sky, to share some of their all-time favorite images capturing sport, culture, and the human spirit.
INTERSECTION
Thursday, April 13, 2023
 Intersection is an event that pushes crews of artistic snow sports visionaries to their limits as they aim to create a masterpiece that truly captures the beauty of ski and snowboard culture. New for 2023, Intersection has invited 5 crews to participate. They have 12 days to shoot, edit, and submit a 4-6 minute winter action sports edit all filmed within the province of BC. These films will be shown on April 13th and judged by a panel of industry experts as well as the audience.
