With the Verbier Xtreme confirmed for Saturday, we here at Snowboard Canada are all fired up on the Freeride World Tour. It’s got us reminiscing on this year’s Kicking Horse event, when the tour descended on Golden for some rowdiness in the Dogtooths. After the competition, defending world champion Sammy Luebke linked up with the Oil Country crew for a day of snowmobile-accessed backcountry boarding. The boys towed into some big ones, and the edit’s fire.
