We had the opportunity to jump on a boat with Jess Kimura for 3 days of epic sturgeon fishing in Chillwack, British Columbia for the 10th annual Jurassic Classic, put on by the Wild Sheep Society of BC, thanks to the good people at YETI recently. There was a bit of Summer left in the air as we went from fishing spot to fishing spot in late August, but you couldn’t help notice that the trees were beginning to change colour and leaves were just beginning to fall, meaning winter isn’t far off.
It was pretty epic to catch over 20 various sized sturgeon with Jess and the team during this classic shoulder season activity, watching her battle 7 and 8+ foot long sturgeon over the course of 3 days on the water. We sat down for a quick catch up with Jess in-between fish on who and what gets her stoked these days, as well as some of her favourite up and coming ladies that rip that you should be watching out for, below.

Probably the confetti bazooka this past year but writing out the giant cheques is consistently the peak of my life every time

Japan! And we are already doing it. So dreams do come true.

Probably an airline or car company so I can get the girls free flights or have a car as a prize
