SHMOBB constantly reminds us what it was like to be in a crew on the hill.
A lot of us grew up with watching the FORUM 8, Wild Cats, UNINC and the SKIDS crews to name a few. Which built the foundations for others link Dust Box to emerge in the later eras. Being on the hill with the homies, trips away and motels with 9 of us and the boots drying on the floorboard heaters being smelt 3 rooms along is the culture we’ve all done from a young age due to watching the videos these crews put out on repeat.
SHMOBB is emanating that same energy on the hill day after day. The tightness between these young riders are exactly why we get excited watching everything they do. Pure Canadian riders back in front of our screens.
Taking in a new member from the island of PEI (Prince Edward Island) on the farthest East of Canada, Luke Clark; an up and coming film maker who moved to Whistler to get amongst the west coast pow and escape the Ice Coast hills, linked and slotted right in with the SHMOBB boys and it shows in this one day heavy hitter from Whistler’s own Blackcomb Park with the rider list consisting of Caleb Chomlack, Garret baker, Finn Finestone, Tosh krauskopf, Truth Smith, Lane Weaver, Dane Menzies and Jacob Legault.
A late season, early summer premiere at Garfinkles to keep us wanting more out of this last season and stoked on next season from the Whistler based crew was strategically well done.
