The true essence of Swatch Nines was on full display recently as Schilthorn transformed into a welcoming, friendly playground for snowboarders and skiers. Family vibes and tight‑knit camaraderie took center stage, creating a pressure‑free space where riders cheered, encouraged, and pushed one another to new heights with jaw‑dropping tricks and slams. The whole mountain buzzed with passion—every stomped landing came with a hug and a high five, and it’s that stoke that keeps people coming back.
When the Swatch Nines was founded 17 years ago and since then, a small event has grown to become one of the longest-standing and most well-renowned events in snowboarding. Over the years, many records have been broken, world-firsts have been achieved, and new athletes have cemented their names in snow sports culture. This year was no different as a handful of world firsts happened in the Alps of Switzerland.
