| WSSF 2023 MULTIMEDIA EVENTS 72Hour Filmmaker Showdown, Sea to Sky Photo Challenge, and Intersection set to return World Ski & Snowboard Festival (WSSF) is excited to announce the return of fan-favorite multimedia programming (with a slight twist) for the 2023 edition. 72 Hour Filmmaker Showdown, Sea to Sky Photo Challenge, and Intersection will be held on April 11, 12, and 13 from 8 PM – 10 PM (Doors at 7 PM) in the Emerald Ballroom in the Westin Resort & Spa, Whistler. Tickets for these highly anticipated events will go on sale to Après Pass Members and Ambassadors on Friday, March 17. Tickets and 3-pack ticket bundles will available to the general public on Monday, March 20. |
| 72 HOUR FILMMAKER SHOWDOWNPresented & Produced by Whistler Film Festival Tuesday, April 11, 2023 72-Hour Filmmaker Showdown, presented & produced by Whistler Film Festival, is returning to Whistler. Teams will be put to the test as they are invited to shoot, edit and produce a 3-5 minute film in just 72 hours. Forget big budgets and exotic locations, we want to see how creative you can get by filming within 100km of Whistler using any recording device of your choosing. | INTERSECTION Thursday, April 13, 2023 Intersection is an event that pushes crews of artistic snow sports visionaries to their limits as they aim to create a masterpiece that truly captures the beauty of ski and snowboard culture. New for 2023, Intersection has invited 5 crews to participate. They have 12 days to shoot, edit, and submit a 4-6 minute winter action sports edit all filmed within the province of BC. These films will be shown on April 13th and judged by a panel of industry experts as well as the audience. |
