Krush, Smiley and the build crew of Snowboy Productions returned for another spring time fun in the sun at Banff’s Sunshine Village with their 12th edition of Holy Bowly.
An event that always brings out so much community. From starting with Dallas Powderface dancing to share his land with us in his beautiful hand made traditional regalia along side fellow Stoney/Nakoda nation members Clifford Fox and Johnny Powderface supporting with traditional drumming as Dallas danced to show the stories of their people and bless our riding for the week ahead.
Always a great time with great people out in the Bow Valley with locals from Rude Boys/Girls, The Source, UNLTD. Riders From all over such as Japan, Sweden, France and the UK to name a few came to be one with the creative mind of Krush Kulesza, Head honcho at Snowboy Production.
From Volcanos with benefits, rollers, panic buttons and Lava land bubbles, these features allow riders to ride things they never have and go beyond their usual riding and get creative.
It’s always an interesting time watching how every rider views and treats the course, Day 3 is always my favourite of the week as its when things get interesting, teetering on the edge of their comfort zone and the top of the course is filled with “I’ve been eyeing this up, I’m going to see how this goes!”
It always goes!
