March 27, 2023 (Whistler, BC) – The World Ski and Snowboard Festival (WSSF) is thrilled to announce the live music lineup for this year’s event. New for 2023, live music performances will be held at various Whistler venues throughout the seven-day festival, featuring four headliners and a diverse range of hometown heroes. The festival’s grand finale on Sunday, April 16th, will see Australian DJ L D R U take to the stage during the Longhorn Après Ski Corona Tropical Tiki Beach Party. L D R U gained national acclaim with his five-time platinum hit ‘Keeping Score’ and supported The Chainsmokers during their 2017 Australian tour. On Friday, April 14th, SNBRN, one of dance music’s most compelling new voices, will perform at The Longhorn Saloon. With over 80 million streams on Spotify and a string of blockbuster hits such as ‘Gangsta Walk,’ ‘Raindrops,’ and ‘Beat the Sunrise,’ SNBRN has cemented his position as a leading artist in the electronic dance music scene. Internationally celebrated producer Grandtheft will bring his eclectic, hip-hop energy to Garfinkel’s on Thursday, April 13th, for the Official Intersection Afterparty, presented by Monster Energy Drink. With two MuchMusic Video Awards and major radio play, Grandtheft is known as one of the best live DJ/producers in the world. Freestyle specialist and former battle rapper JUNK will perform at Garfinkel’s on Friday, April 14th. Having headlined solo tours and opened for legends like Tech N9ne, MGK, Yelawolf, Wu-Tang, and Redman, JUNK is guaranteed to deliver a high-octane performance. The festival will also feature local favorites such as Case of the Mondays, Red Chair Band, Foxy Moron, Nat Morel, Vinyl Ritchie, and many more.
